Candy Cryx
My painted Warmachine army so far. Cryx are a faction that is full of venomous, undead, necromancy-inspired magics and machines, and the first models I picked up were the Warwitch Deneghra and the Satyxis Raider Captain (the ladies towards the bottom.) I picked them up because we were going to run a pen and paper Iron Kingdoms game (that never happened) and I needed a miniature for my character. I wound up using Denny, and thus I cropped off her weapon.
Somewhere down the line when I was watching my partner and roommate paint their models I thought it would be hilarious to paint an army obnoxiously colorful/pink/sugary colors and somehow that turned into my theme and mission with my Cryx army as I inherited the battlebox (including a deathjack and three bonejacks) from my roommate after getting Deneghra.
I plan on painting my new models to match these (more or less).
Top-to-bottom are a group shot, and closeups of: bone jacks, the Slayer helljack, Deneghra, and the Satyxis Raider Captain.
I picture the spray being cotton candy instead of poison. Take ongoing candy damage!
